The agreement between you and Limn: what you get, what you pay, what you may do with the service, and what happens when it ends.
The full text below is what applies.
Limn is a marketing and CRM platform operated by Acadia Marketing LLC ("Limn", "we", "us"), One City Center, Portland, ME 04101. By creating an account or using launchwithlimn.com you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
These terms work together with our Privacy Policy and the other documents listed at the foot of this page.
You agree not to use Limn to:
The full list is our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from Acadia Marketing LLC (Limn), you consent to receive account notifications, one-time verification codes, appointment reminders, invoice, estimate and document-signature links, missed-call text-backs, and customer-care replies from Acadia Marketing LLC at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at acadiamarketingmaine@gmail.com or (207) 716-9079. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile number and your text-messaging consent are not shared, sold, or bought by third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details. Businesses that use Limn to message their own customers are responsible for obtaining that consent as described in Section 3.
Your organization owns the data it stores in Limn. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your full dataset at any time.
So that we can run the service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, process and display your content, only as needed to provide Limn to you and only for as long as you keep it here. We claim no ownership of it.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to put that content into Limn, including the personal details of the people in it. If you send us suggestions about the product, we may use them without owing you anything for them.
You are the sender of every text, call, email and post your workspace makes through Limn, including the ones an automation or an AI assistant makes on your behalf. That means you are responsible for:
Limn stops texts to a number that replied STOP and email to an address that unsubscribed, and those controls must not be worked around. We are not responsible for a message you send without the consent it needed.
Limn can draft messages, summarize conversations, suggest content, and answer a business's phone line with an AI voice. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Read what is drafted before you send it; you are responsible for anything you send, publish or act on.
If you switch on an AI assistant that talks to your customers, you are responsible for how it is set up, for telling callers and writers they are speaking with an automated assistant where the law requires it, and for having a person review any decision that matters to the customer.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until canceled. Usage (emails, SMS segments, AI tokens) is metered per billing period and the counters reset at the start of each period. Repeated failed payments may result in suspension until the balance is settled; your data is retained during suspension and access is restored when a payment succeeds.
Plans are billed monthly or once a year, at the price shown when you choose the plan. Every plan starts with 7 free days: your card is saved when you sign up and charged 7 days later unless you cancel first. A workspace gets one free trial. Each card gets one free trial, and a card that already had one, or whose payment to Limn was reversed through a bank, is charged when the plan starts. Prices are in US dollars.
Switching plans moves your existing subscription onto the new price rather than starting a second one, so you are never billed twice for the same workspace.
If a scheduled charge fails 3 times, the workspace is locked until a payment goes through. Nothing in it is deleted while it is locked.
An organization owner can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again. Because the period you paid for is served in full, canceling does not generate an automatic or prorated refund. If something went wrong — you were charged in error, or the service did not work as described — email support@launchwithlimn.com and we will review the charge.
Before or after canceling, you can export your organization's full dataset from Settings, and you can ask us to permanently delete it.
We may suspend all or part of a workspace if:
Where we can, we tell the account owner first and give them a chance to put things right. Suspension keeps the workspace's data intact, and we lift it once the reason has been dealt with.
Features that depend on third-party platforms (social publishing, email and SMS delivery, payments) are subject to those platforms' availability and terms. We are not responsible for changes those platforms make to their APIs or policies.
Limn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that a message will be delivered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
That includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost data and lost goodwill, even if we were told they were possible. Where the law where you live does not allow a limit like this, it applies only as far as that law allows.
You will defend and indemnify Acadia Marketing LLC against claims, fines and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, from messages or calls your workspace sent without the consent they needed, or from your breaking these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control its defence.
You can end this agreement at any time by canceling your plan and, if you wish, deleting your account. We may end it if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
When a plan ends, the workspace is locked, not erased: its records stay until a plan is running again or an owner deletes the account. Download your copy from Settings while the plan is running; if you need one after it has ended, write to us.
Deleting an account signs you out everywhere and erases it 7 days later, together with any workspace you were the only member of. Entries in a team's audit log and the billing history of what Limn charged are kept, with names removed. The steps are on the account deletion page.
Sections 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 18 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the application or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, Maine.
These terms, with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about Limn. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it to a company that takes over Limn, and we will tell account owners if we do.
